Professionally modified Canon EOS 750D full-spectrum camera makes UV and infrared light visible
After removing the factory-installed UV and IR blocking filters, the sensor becomes sensitive to ultraviolet (UV), visible, and infrared (IR) light. Compared to a conventional DSLR camera, the spectral sensitivity is extended to approximately 350–1000 nm, making the camera ideal for creative infrared photography, UV photography, scientific applications, and experimental photography.
Depending on the filter used, the camera can be flexibly deployed for classical daylight photography, infrared photography, UV photography, or astrophotography. The full-spectrum modification is particularly popular among photographers who want to create creative landscape images with surreal colors and dramatic contrasts using various IR filters.
In astrophotography, the full-spectrum modification offers significant advantages. With suitable H-alpha filters, emission nebulae and other astronomical objects can be captured much more effectively than with a conventional DSLR camera.
The modification of this camera is carried out in our specialized workshops by experienced photo specialists with many years of expertise in camera modifications, as well as camera and lens repairs. Since 2012, we have modified well over 1,000 cameras for astro and full-spectrum photography. Our experience and the precise execution of each modification make every modified camera a high-quality tool for demanding photography. The work is carried out under controlled working conditions with cleanroom technology. Each camera is individually checked and carefully adjusted to ensure that autofocus and infinity focus function reliably.

Canon EOS 750D Full Spectrum – Special Features
The Canon EOS 750D impresses with its compact and lightweight design, making it ideal for astrophotography, among other uses. Weighing just 555g, it puts less strain on mounts compared to larger DSLR models. The Canon EOS 750D features a 24.2-megapixel sensor with high detail resolution and improved noise performance. The modern DIGIC 6 processor ensures excellent low-light performance for long-exposure astronomical photography. Particularly practical is the vari-angle display, which can be rotated and swiveled, enabling comfortable work even in difficult positions. The touchscreen allows for easy control of the focus point, zoom view, and menus — a major advantage for precise focusing. Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, the Canon EOS 750D can be wirelessly controlled via smartphone or tablet, ideal for vibration-free long exposures. Live View, focus, and shutter release can be comfortably controlled remotely.
At the same time, the EOS 750D is one of the most affordable entry-level cameras for deep-sky astrophotography.
In the exploded view diagram, item no. 2 shows the IR/UV blocking filter, which is removed during modification, increasing the H-alpha sensitivity (hydrogen line at 656 nm) fourfold (the sulfur line SII at 672 nm even sevenfold).
Notes on Full-Spectrum Modification
We offer this full-spectrum modification in two versions:

With anti-reflective (AR) coated optical clear glass for sensor protection.
- Without protective glass.
Most of our customers opt for the AR glass version. The glass protects the sensitive microlenses against dust or during cleaning. In some full-spectrum modifications, no clear glass is used, allowing for a minimally larger spectral range. However, in this case, the sensitive sensor surface is exposed, and the microlenses of the sensor are very sensitive to touch (during cleaning) and dust. The camera's internal sensor cleaning function is disabled in the full-spectrum modification, as the corresponding original filters with the cleaning mechanism are removed.
After modification, the Canon captures with significantly higher sensitivity:
UV range: approx. 320–350 nm
Visible light: approx. 400–700 nm (unchanged, but without artificial limitation by filters)
Infrared range (IR): approx. 700–1000 nm
Sensor size: APS-C 22.3 mm × 14.9 mm
Resolution: 24.2 megapixels

The scope of delivery includes an OWB (Original White Balance) clip filter for Canon EF lenses, which allows for natural color reproduction similar to an unmodified Canon camera. Canon EF-S lenses are not compatible with this filter because, by design, they extend too far into the camera body. Canon EF lenses and numerous third-party lenses from manufacturers like Sigma, Tamron, or Samyang can still be used. In a separate auction, we offer clip filters in the versions 590-1200nm, 660-1200nm, 720nm, and 850nm.
Note on Lens Selection
For using clip filters, we primarily recommend manual lenses, such as M42 lenses in combination with an M42-EOS adapter or Canon EF lenses. Since autofocus often no longer works reliably in infrared photography, manual lenses are often the more practical and cost-effective choice.
For landscape shots, lenses such as the Mir-20M 20 mm f/3.5, Super-Takumar 24 mm f/3.5, Canon EF 20 mm f/2.8 USM, or Canon EF 24 mm f/2.8 are suitable.

- The camera is in good optical condition and technically 100% flawless. The latest firmware has been installed.
- The displayed photos serve as example images. Slight optical signs of use may be present. We do not use retouched product photos, and the cameras shown are real devices from our inventory. Cleanliness and a well-maintained optical condition are important to us. Therefore, every camera is cleaned during modification. Although these are used cameras, many of our customers are positively surprised by their optical condition — as reflected in the numerous reviews.
