Im Vergleich zu einer nicht modifizierten Kamera sind deutlich kürzere Belichtungszeiten möglich. Während einer einzigen klaren Nacht können dadurch wesentlich mehr Einzelaufnahmen erstellt werden, die später für das Stacking-Verfahren verwendet werden. Gleichzeitig trifft innerhalb derselben Belichtungszeit deutlich mehr Licht auf den Sensor, wodurch feine Nebeldetails und schwache Deep-Sky-Strukturen sichtbar werden, die mit einer Standardkamera oft verborgen bleiben.

Hinweise zur Astrofotografie und zur Modifikation
Bei den astromodifizierten Kameras funktionieren Autofokus und Unendlichfokus weiterhin wie bei einem Serienmodell. Der Sensor bleibt geschützt und die kamerainterne Sensorreinigung bleibt vollständig erhalten.
Die Kamera kann weiterhin auch für Tageslichtaufnahmen verwendet werden. Im Lieferumfang befindet sich ein OWB (Original White Balance) Clipfilter für Canon EF-Objektive, mit dem sich eine natürliche Farbwiedergabe ähnlich einer unmodifizierten Canon-Kamera erzielen lässt.
Canon EF-S Objektive sind mit diesem Filter nicht kompatibel, da sie konstruktionsbedingt weiter in das Kameragehäuse hineinragen. Viele Canon EF-Objektive sowie zahlreiche Objektive von Drittanbietern wie Sigma, Tamron oder Samyang können hingegen weiterhin verwendet werden.

Die Kamera befindet sich in einem guten optischen Zustand und ist technisch 100 % einwandfrei. Die neueste Firmware wurde installiert.
Die abgebildeten Fotos dienen als Beispielbilder. Aufgrund des Gebrauchtzustands können leichte optische Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden sein. Wir verwenden keine retuschierten Produktfotos. Die abgebildeten Kameras zeigen reale Geräte aus unserem Bestand. Sauberkeit und ein gepflegter optischer Zustand sind uns wichtig. Deshalb wird jede Kamera während der Modifizierung gereinigt. Obwohl es sich um gebrauchte Kameras handelt, sind viele unserer Kunden vom optischen Zustand positiv überrascht – was sich in den zahlreichen Bewertungen widerspiegelt.

Our Canon EOS 6Da specially modified for astrophotography features an optimized IR filter with four times higher H-alpha sensitivity compared to a standard DSLR camera.
The camera captures significantly more Hα light and is therefore perfectly suited for photographing diffuse nebulae, red hydrogen nebulae and faint emission regions of the night sky.
Compared to an unmodified camera, significantly shorter exposure times are possible. During a single clear night, substantially more individual exposures can be captured for later use in the stacking process. At the same exposure time, considerably more light reaches the sensor, revealing fine nebula details and faint deep-sky structures that often remain invisible with a standard camera.
The modification makes this camera ideal for deep-sky imaging, Milky Way photography and astronomical long-exposure imaging. An excellent choice for ambitious astrophotographers looking to create detailed and low-noise images of the night sky.

Notes about astrophotography and the modification
With our astro-modified cameras, autofocus and infinity focus continue to function just like on a standard factory camera. The sensor remains protected and the integrated sensor cleaning system remains fully functional.
The camera can still be used for normal daylight photography. Included in the package is an OWB (Original White Balance) clip filter for Canon EF lenses, allowing natural color reproduction similar to an unmodified Canon camera.
Canon EF-S lenses are not compatible with this filter because they extend too far into the camera body. However, many Canon EF lenses as well as third-party lenses from Sigma, Tamron or Samyang can still be used without problems.

The camera is in good cosmetic condition and technically 100% functional. The latest firmware has been installed.
The photos shown are sample images. Due to the used condition, minor cosmetic signs of use may be present. We do not use retouched product photos. The cameras shown in our listings are real cameras from our actual inventory. Cleanliness and a well-maintained cosmetic condition are important to us. Therefore, every camera is carefully cleaned during the modification process. Although these are used cameras, many of our customers are positively surprised by their cosmetic condition - something that is reflected in the numerous customer reviews.
