This is a professional service offer:
- The price includes insured shipping both ways. After purchase, send us your email address and we’ll provide a prepaid DHL label.
- Close the mirror box using the body cap. No battery or accessories required. Please remove the memory card. Print and attach the label, and drop the parcel off at DHL.
- We will perform the diagnostics within 5 business days of receiving the camera.
- Return shipping is included and insured via DHL.
- You will receive a detailed invoice with VAT shown.
🔧 Read-out of shutter actuations
Know the true wear level of your camera – ideal for resale, purchase decisions, or maintenance planning.
📷 Shutter timing calibration
After replacing the shutter (new or used), incorrect exposures may occur. We recalibrate the shutter timing for accurate exposures – just like it left the factory.
🧯 Hotpixel Mapping
Visible hotpixels in your photos? We map them out professionally – ideal for long exposures and high ISO shooting. Available for selected models only (see above).
🔢 Serial Number Adjustment
After a mainboard or housing replacement, the serial number may be missing or incorrect. We restore or adjust it professionally.
💾 Backup & Restore of Camera Calibration and Digital Settings
We back up your camera’s key adjustment and calibration data, and restore it after repairs. Especially critical after a mainboard swap: each board has unique settings – if not aligned, your camera may behave unpredictably. Exposure, autofocus, and more might go haywire – like a GPS that sends you into a cornfield in the middle of a city.
Process Overview:
- Send your camera body to our workshop. The price already includes insured DHL shipping both ways. We will email you a prepaid label after purchase.
- Close the mirror box with the body cap. No battery or accessories are needed. Don’t forget to remove the memory card.
- We complete the diagnostics in our workshop within 5 business days of receipt.
- We return the camera via DHL, insured and tracked.
- You receive a commercial invoice with VAT.
