Discover the full spectrum of light with our full spectrum modified Canon DSLR! Thanks to the professional removal of the original filter, this camera is no longer limited to the visible range - it is now sensitive to ultraviolet (UV), visible and infrared (IR) light. This opens up completely new creative and scientific fields of application.

🔬 Forensics & Science
UV passport filters can be used to visualise invisible traces - such as skin abrasion, blood or forgery marks on documents. Ideal for forensic investigations, material analyses or biological research.
🌿 Infrared photography
IR filters (e.g. 720 nm or 850 nm) produce impressive, artistic landscape images with surreal lighting moods, white deciduous trees and high-contrast sky structures - perfect for creative photographers.
🎨 Art & restoration
In museums and studios, full-spectrum photography helps to visualise invisible details in paintings - e.g. preliminary drawings, retouching or material differences under different lighting conditions.
🌌 Astrophotography
With H-alpha pass filters (e.g. 656.3 nm), the camera becomes the ideal tool for deep-sky images - emission nebulae that cannot be captured with standard cameras become visible.
Technical note
The two internal filters "Filter 1" (UV/IR cut filter) and "Filter 2" (low-pass filter incl. sensor shake unit) were removed during this conversion. As a result, the camera is fully transparent from UV to IR - however, the automatic ultrasonic sensor cleaning function has also been removed. The autofocus works and lenses can focus to infinity.
⚠️ Note: As the camera is spectrally undefined after the conversion, it must be used with suitable filters before use in order to capture specific wavelength ranges. We recommend high-quality clip filters or attachment filters from Kolari Vision, to switch flexibly between IR, UV and H-alpha images - without any further conversion.
