You are purchasing a service for the removal of hot pixels from your camera.
We have observed that the Canon 1Dx can develop more hot pixels (red, white, and blue dots) over time – this is particularly problematic for long exposures.
Our Solution
Using a special process, we permanently deactivate the sensor's disruptive hot pixels. Disturbing pixels are mapped out by directly entering them into the camera's registers.
Want to test your camera yourself? It’s simple:
Attach the camera cap and close the mirror box. Set ISO to 1600 and exposure time to 5 seconds. Check the black image: Do you see many bright pixels (2-3 are normal)?.
