We've observed that a noticeable number of Canon 700Ds exhibit significantly more hot pixels than other models. Hot pixels are red, white, and blue dots. This is particularly problematic for long exposures and astrophotography.
This problem is particularly noticeable with astro-modified cameras. If you're buying a Canon 700D for astrophotography, you should definitely make sure this problem has been fixed, otherwise you'll end up with unwanted spots in every image.

Our Solution
Using a special process, we permanently deactivate the sensor's disruptive hot pixels. Disturbing pixels are mapped out by directly entering them into the camera's registers.
